Jail or Bail – and all for a very worthy cause

To all,

Following a concentrated campaign it appears time has caught up with me and at 9am tomorrow (28th February) I will be locked up at Steelhouse Lane, Birmingham.

After arriving for processing at 10am, ‘mug shots’ and fingerprints are taken, and then it’s off to the holding cell.

My only way to negotiate my release is to raise my bail which is set at £600. I’m calling on my family, friends and business contacts to fundraise for my freedom.

I realise the flaw in my plan is that I’m more likely to get donations to keep me in, rather than get me out! So as an incentive to you all, Fitzgerald will match all donations made up to 12pm on Thursday 28th February, up to a maximum of £2,000.

Please donate as soon as you are able at: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Nicholas-Coley

Your donation will go to our chosen charity St. Mary’s Hospice, they are a fantastic cause who provide end of life care and personalised support for loved ones. The money we raise will help the terrific work which is being completed currently. If you wish to find out more information the website is as follows: https://www.birminghamhospice.org.uk/what-we-do

In Fitzgerald’s 70th Year we are aiming to raise £70,000 for the Hospice, this event will be one of many and any support you are able to offer would be greatly appreciated and invaluable to the Hospice.

Many thanks to Jo Lowe for nominating me for this event, I will provide further updates for your amusement as the day progresses.

Many Thanks,

Nick Coley
