Fitzgerald Shortlisted for Project of the Year in Construction News Specialists Awards

Fitzgerald Contractors are pleased to announce that the company has been selected as a finalist in the ‘Project of the Year by a Specialist Contractor (subcontract up to £1m)’ category of the 2021 Construction News Specialists Awards, the only national awards that recognises the best specialist contractors from across the UK.

Our shortlisted written entry focuses on Fitzgerald’s successful completion of a stunning new landmark public space at Shakespeare’s Birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon. The public realm scheme on Henley Street features high-specification Yorkstone and Kellen paving and associated street furniture, provision of Hostile Vehicle Measures and the installation of a new centrepiece Shakespeare statue.

Fitzgerald will now progress to the second stage of judging in August to present further highlights and benefits of the scheme to a panel from the UK’s largest and most significant clients, contractors and developers.
