Fitzgerald retains its place on Major Framework for Warwickshire CC

We are pleased to announce that Fitzgerald Contractors have successfully resecured its place on Warwickshire County Council’s Framework Contract for Provision of Engineering Construction Works 2019.

The company was appointed to Lots 1 (Ordinary highway and associated works) and Lot 2 for the completion of Highway, Structural and Civil Engineering works. The Framework which will run for two years has an option to be extended, and through call-off contracts, enables the efficient procurement of public sector infrastructure works across the region, delivering benefit back to the residents and visitors of Warwickshire.

In the previous 2016-18 Framework Contract for Warwickshire County Council, Fitzgerald played a key role in delivering 11 key highways infrastructure contracts collectively valued at £10 million, predominantly to create access to new housing developments.

Notable schemes include Section 278 works being delivered at A429 Ettington Road, Harbury depot in Bishops Itchington and the ongoing £3m scheme at A452 Europa Way. Europa Way is a vitally important project being delivered on behalf of Gallagher Estates Ltd, the scheme will create a new signalised junction to open up land for redevelopment.

Fitzgerald Contractors MD Nick Coley said: ‘We are delighted to have again secured our place on the Framework, which allows us to continue to build on our excellent working relationship with Warwickshire County Council. The Framework also provides us the opportunity to work closely with House Builders and Developers where our expertise in the delivery of complex highways schemes can add real value to their projects.’
