Fitzgerald in Attendance at Nationally Important HS2 Conference

Today (3rd September) the company attended the Economic Growth Conference supported by HS2 to gain new insight into future plans for major new development zones and regeneration across UK city centres and local regions.

Organised by the Built Environment Networking, the one-day event held in Leeds attracted over 400 delegates from the public and private sectors. This included a series of exceptional panel discussions and presentations with a keynote speech by current HS2 Chairman Allan Cook (pictured above).

The proposed HS2 railway is one of the largest ever infrastructure schemes the UK has ever seen and as part of the enabling works phase Fitzgerald are currently on-site in Staffordshire and Warwickshire delivering two key civil engineering schemes on behalf of HS2.
