We recently completed the £9.1 million Bicester Village Highways Access scheme, the importance to our client of maintaining the best quality customer experience was pivotal. In particular, maximising the number of car park spaces was imperative to all of the outlet’s successful operations.
Safety and quality were the key themes for the scheme and robust utility coordination ensured that we did not cause outage of fibre optic cables, which are vital for all retail store payment systems. During the project we were awarded an additional £2m of enhancement works to the village, these works and our contract works were delivered on programme and in time for the critical Christmas trading period.
