Fitzgerald Contractors have secured a £6.2m infrastructure contract at a £120m business park at the former Rolls-Royce East Works site in Filton.
The Contract involves the Design and construction of a new manufacturing and distribution estate to include new roads and infrastructure: including Section 278 and Section 38 works, extensive drainage works, landscaping to traffic roundabouts, new mains services and service diversions.
The 580,000 sq ft of industrial space created will be the largest speculative industrial development in Bristol for 20 years.
The works are being undertaken for Joint venture partners and commercial property developers and investors, St Francis Group and iSec.
