As ever October is a landmark month in Fitzgerald Contractors Training and Development Programme. This year is no exception with six employees going through our Development Programme attending Universities and Colleges across the Midlands.
Employees are commencing a full range of courses across the business from MSc Quantity Surveying to CITB Apprenticeships; ensuring new employees are bought into the business at apprentice level and existing employees are given the opportunity to further their training, in order that they can fulfil their potential and aspirations.
Nick Coley said ‘We recognise that the success of Fitzgerald Contractors is down to the people who work here. Our Training and Development plan brings new individuals into the industry through our apprenticeship schemes and enables our graduates and trainees alike to become competent and respected professionals through our development programme. With the current skills shortage in the industry all Contractors have a responsibility to invest in Training and Development both for the development of their employees and the industry as a whole.’
