Fitzgerald Contractors has reported yet another record year with turnover for the twelve months to 31st March 2015 increasing to £34m. The figures represent a remarkable performance over the last 2 years, following the management buyout from its French owned parent in May 2013, during which time turnover has nearly doubled. Looking forward the company has recently secured a number of significant awards from existing and new clients. These awards reflect the varied sectors in which the company works and ensures that the secured forward order book is also at a record level.
Fitzgerald Contractors’ principle shareholder and Managing Director Nick Coley confirmed ‘The freedom and flexibility of the new ownership structure has allowed us to be reactive to the market and to ensure that we are able to meet our Client’s needs. By operating across multiple sectors, including Retail, Housing, The Highways Agency and Local Authorities including working as a subcontractor for large main contractors, we have developed a balanced business model that has enabled us to maximise opportunities to increase turnover and grow the business.
Central to this success has been our commitment to client satisfaction, and we are delighted that in our latest independent customer care surveys 100% of our clients confirmed they would be happy to work with us again. As a regional contractor who self-delivers projects, through a directly employed labour force, we believe we have a unique offering that is valued by our Clients.’
