Fitzgerald Contractors, founded in Birmingham in 1948, have established an enviable reputation for quality and service for infrastructure and civil engineeering projects in the Midlands.
Managed from offices in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and near Derby, Fitzgerald has grown to employ over 150 people from within the surrounding areas.
It is this commitment to the employment of local people and our knowledge of the region that has enabled us to provide a competitive service that has effectiveley met the commercial requirements of our clients.

Fitzgerald Contractors undertake projects of up to £6million in value. The Company's Constructionline registration number is 5976.
Operating Area
Fitzgerald focus on projects in central England and generally within sixty miles of Birmingham and Derby.

Our commitment to the health, safety and welfare of our employees, our clients and to the general public is absolute and is central to how we conduct our business.
A rigorous training programme for employees and sub-contractors continues to be a cornerstone of our investment policy and our safety record over many years has been recognised by the National Safety Awards from the British Safety Council.
Fitzgerald is accredited within the Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS) having demonstrated compliance with, and sound management of, current health and safety legislation.

By achieving accreditation against the Investors in People Standard we recognised that our major resource was our employees and their talents; we therefore look to maximise their skills by focusing on personal and team development to ensure continuous improvement and to ensure delivery of a quality service in all areas of the business.

The Company has been assessed as meeting the Quality Management Standard - ISO 9001 and the Environmental Management Standard - ISO 14001 and is proud to display the United Kingdom Accreditation Service 'UKAS' Accreditation Marks. As part of this we have willingly embraced a quality audit programme with our clients to ensure that we maintain these Standards.
